A Zone Integration Server (ZIS) is the central middleware component of the Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF) Specification – the preeminent PK-12 Education data standard for interoperability – and serves as the router of data between disparate district information systems. The Mizuni ZIS was designed to not only comply with the SIF specification but also to meet the most stringent performance and usability requirements.

The Mizuni Identity Manager for Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange is the most comprehensive SIF agent available for both student and employee network and email account automation. The Mizuni Identity Manager enables the exchange of student and employee information with any SIF-Certified student information system or human resources/finance system. In addition, the Mizuni Identity Manager can provide authentication information including domain and username information to other SIF agents.

Mizuni has partnered with LunchByte Systems, Inc. to provide the official SIF agent for the NUTRIKIDS food services system. The Mizuni SIF Agent for LunchByte NUTRIKIDS enables the exchange of student, staff and even student picture information with any SIF-Certified student information system. In addition, the Mizuni NUTRIKIDS agent can provide relevant food services information including meal status and account balance to other SIF agents.

Mizuni SIF Agent for Pearson Chancery SMS
The Mizuni SIF Agent for Pearson Chancery SMS was the first agent to achieve SIF 2.0r1 certification for the Chancery SMS student information system. The Mizuni Chancery SMS agent provides the most extensive set of SIF data objects of any SIF-Certified student information system agent on the market with a remarkable 23 exposed data objects, including student, staff, scheduling, attendance and grade book information.
