Mizuni Motiv Portal.

A web-based information delivery solution has always been a critical component of any information management strategy.

The design requirement of the Mizuni Motiv Portal solution was simple:

Design a web-based Portal that can securely deliver operational and strategic information from the Motiv Data Warehouse.

The Motiv Portal securely delivers information from the Motiv Data Warehouse based on district-defined customized roles.

The Mizuni approach to data warehousing and information delivery provides numerous benefits:

• Secure, continuous and real-time access to information.
• Securely delivered information to users via a web browser based
  on customizable security policies.

The Motiv Portal solution is built using Microsoft .NET, Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 and Microsoft SQL Reporting Services. The solution consists of several components:

• Portal
• Dashboard
• Student and Teacher Viewer
• Reports Portal (includes all standardized reports)
• Administrative Portal (includes setting, security and log management)

Since the portal is a key component of an information management strategy, a solution should be evaluated on:
